The Roman invasion brought new technology such as Roman roads and underfloor heating. The Romans built new towns which still exist today. The Romans also brought new ingedients which are now standard items in British cusine. However the Roman invasion was not accepted by the local people and the Romans were eventually driven out.

罗马人的入侵带来了新技术，比如罗马道路和地板采暖。罗马人建了新的城镇，这些城镇至今仍然存在。罗马人还带来了现在英国料理中常见的新食材。不过当地人并不接受罗马人的入侵，最后他们还是被赶出了。
