The Krays / 克雷家族
Ronnie and Reggie Kray were brothers involved in organized crime in the East End of London. Their criminal gang, dubbed 'The Firm', carried out robberies, arson, racketeering, assaults, and murders in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Krays were arrested many times but were only convicted in 1969. They were captured by Police Inspector Leonard 'Nipper' Read during his first assignment as a detective.

In 1995, Ronnie Kray died in a secure mental hospital. Reggie Kray was released from prison in 2000 on humanitarian grounds. He was 66 and had inoperable cancer. Reggie Kray died later that year.

Due to their notoriety, the Krays have been the subject of many books and movies. The Monty Python team parodied the brothers' exploits with characters Doug and Dinsdale Pirahna and their arrest by Superintendent Harry 'Snapper' Organs.
